Visualizing the Global Discourse on Iran

This visualization uses the GDELT Global Knowledge Graph to visualize the network of all of the people who have appeared in global English-language news coverage of Iran over the period April to October 2013.

Names appearing together in an article are connected and only those names and connections appearing in at least 50 articles are displayed. Mouse over a name to see who is who - click on a name to display only the portion of the network connected to that name.

Visualized using Gephi, ForceAtlas 2, modularity finding, and the SigmaJS export plugin.
